“When coming up with the design I wanted to develop something that complimented the tropical feel of the rooftop patio with the urban environment it's encapsulated in. The rooftop has lots of wood and a giant hut that gives it a very summery/tropical look. Also not to mention their main sponsor is Corona. I wanted to also acknowledge the colors of The Pint brand, so I made sure to have accents of red. As for the bird, it's called a house Finch and they're a social bird that can be seen in the summer time and have been spotted in the public gardens. These birds like to hang out in very chatty groups, all features that are in common with the rooftop patio. The bird is also a nod to an old mural of a blue Jay that was ok this wall.
